After the founders Blaise McCann and Karina Bruce spent many years working in the plus size fashion industry they became frustrated with the lack of choice, the poor fits and the inability to create pieces that respected the curvy figure – let alone flattered it.

From this sheer frustration Hear Us Roar was born, a place where fashion exists first and being plus size second. The marketplace helps women of Australia who have never been able to shop in main stream stores find clothing for every occasion by designers who actually understand the curvy figure.

Don’t be fooled by the fashion – Hear Us Roar is built on a strong community of like-minded individuals who support each other and carry the burden of their size through their day to day. Our inspiring pop-up space, inclusive runways and photoshoots help women to feel ‘normal’ even beautiful in a world that otherwise tells them they are ugly.
